Safety features:

- Motors are being stopped by brakes in compliance with PLr = d (EN 1417) and category 3 (EN 13849-1); motors are also stopped in case the electricity is cut-off

- Emergency stop bars on front and back

- As soon as an emergency stop is triggered, the rolls are being stopped immediately (braking angle < 60°) and the nip is being opened by the hydraulic cylinders (50 mm in < 5s; 50 mm maximum)

- Measurement and monitoring of braking angle
